The solution was very simple unfortunately...
Each Citrix/RDP/Console user has to have their own copy of 4D v11.
This
adds up fast + it makes deployment on a terminal server really
ungainly.

Hi all:
We're seeing an issue where only one person at a time can log into
v11.2 Server via Citrix - 4D crashes to the desktop when a second
Citrix account attempts to start the 4D application (this happens
before attempting to connect to Server)
Is anyone else seeing this issue, or not?

It is certainly faster and with the new coding possibilities maybe fast
enough. But, with an existing app - Citrix metaframe and equivalents
are
still the only real solution.

Christophe Flement presented a wonderful real world demonstration of
4D v11
connecting to a production database running on 4D server over WAN
during
last month's New York Reginoal 4D User Group. I can tell you that the
performance was vastly improved. The product is actually usable on
WAN
connections.
It's time to reaccess some perceptions on deploying 4D over WAN.

Just so everyone is aware, we logged a bug for this issue and am happy
to
report that it was fixed recently and will be available in an upcoming
release.

Hi Guys,
We tested the hotfix and confirmed that it worked in Citrix.
The problem we are having now is that we can't get
Server to run as a service on Windows. When we do try
to register it as a service, we don't get any errors it just
doesn't do anything.
Has anyone else had this experience with 4D Server v11.2 ?
Thanks,
