popup dropdown lists in v14

We recently upgraded to v14 and have found a serious problem with the
popup dropdown lists on Windows. ?Previously, when the user tabbed
into the dropdown list and began typing, the entry would automatically
be set to the first element in the array starting with the typed
letter, and then move down the list as they type - correct prescience.
?=A0?In v14, typing in the dropdown list does nothing until you
press
the down arrow on the keyboard or click it with the mouse. ?Then,
typing matches only one letter. ?Our users are not going to accept
this UI change. ?I have tried everything I can think of to program
around this. ?Anyone out there have any ideas? ?I am going to report
it as a bug but in the meantime any advice is appreciated.

How about On getting focus post a down arrow key to open the drop down
menu? I haven't tried it though.
