Adding on to this, in modern versions of 4D DOCUMENT LIST has an
optional
third parameter that lets you do things like include or exclude
invisible
documents. Not sure how that behaves with files starting with a period
on
Windows...but worth a thought?

These files are created when mounting a windows device on a MAC, they
are harmless. I think Tinkertool used to do this. IF not the correct
name I all look at client tomorrow and update.
Meanwhile do a google and you will find many links on how to delete
these files

them, so one can't delete a folder with one of these in it
