I've enjoyed listboxes a lot in v12, looking forward to a new v13 or
(possibly) v14 deployment, where there is even more capability.

However, I'm stumped on one aspect. The customer would like a column to
display color coded, for instance the flight time departure could be
green
if nominal, red if delayed.

Can I do this? I'm using listboxes based on selection of records.

I've looked over NUG archives last few years but did not see a
solution.

As background, consider: listboxes have evolved to be a lot like output
forms. They even have On Display Detail, which works very nicely for
special related queries, expressions, etc. However, output forms can
set
colors for individual lines.

Am I missing something obvious? v15? Any thoughts appreciated.

Hi John,

Not in v12, v13 or v14 for selection based list boxes. ?I don't know
what
the deal is either. ?I have wanted this since I replaced all of my
output
forms with list boxes. ?Right now I have to colour the whole row.
?Which
isn't a show stopper. ?Just use lighter background colours that won't
block or hinder the data in the cells.

Regards,

v12: multi-style text to change the font color On Display Detail
?=A0?=A0?=A0?or, use SVG if the cell is read only.
v13: ditto
v14/ LISTBOX SET ROW COLOR (despite the command name, works on a cell,
if
applied to a column)

interesting, never thought of using an expression for picture columns.

maybe then a method that returns an SVG instance of a text parameter
would
work.
