Drop Picture onto 4DWrite Area

I'm sure I'm being a dope, but is there a way to drop a picture (e.g.
from a folder on the desktop) directly onto a 4DWrite Area?
I can drop it onto a picture variable and programmatically put it into
the 4D Write area, but I really need to drop it directly.
I believe I've enabled all of the correct events, but clearly I'm
missing something
Currently, this is Windows 4D 12.6

Anybody?
