Plugins No Longer Recognized - Solved

I shoulda checked earlier... The resource forks of the .4CX files were
gone. I don't know how, but somehow they were erased.
Thanks for the help Walt and Milan. I'm sure the collective brainwaves
emanating from all y'all out there helped me find the answer.
